About the author
Eric Saint Plancat, a Master Mariner, has sailed the world’s oceans for more than thirty years. He has commanded a wide variety of vessels, from traditional sailing ships and prestigious yachts to specialized Ro-Ro vessels and polar expedition ships, gaining an exceptional breadth of experience along the way.
Alongside this remarkable career at sea, Eric spent more than fifteen years living aboard his own sailing yacht, taking his family on a personal odyssey that led them from France to New Zealand, crossing the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific under sail. Today, based in Canada on Vancouver Island, Eric spends his free time exploring the spectacular waters and landscapes of British Columbia.
